▪ The watershed is under intense pressure from development.

▪  Wetlands which filter and purify runoff, replenish our ground water and play a crucial role in our environmental balance are being destroyed at an alarming rate.

▪  River flow fluctuations are increasing partly due to an increase in impervious surface.
